Dr. Liza graduated with a specialization in a technique called the Webster Technique. It is a specific sacral adjustment meant for pregnant moms and babies.
Some of the benefits of this technique for pregnant women is that it prepares the pelvis for easier pregnancy another is that it removes torsion (twists) of the ligaments that support the uterus– this helps in reducing unusual tension to the uterus. This technique can also reduce interference from the mother’s vital nerve system which controls and coordinates all of her other systems and functions. This also helps infants because without that interference it gives the baby a better chance at development.
When it comes to the fetus this technique can give it greater room to develop without restrictions to its forming cranium, spine, and other skeletal structures. This room provides better positioning during birth as well. With proper fetal positioning, there is a significant decrease in dystocia and the resulting birth trauma caused by intervention.
For both mother and child, and for everyone else, adjustments helps improve disposition, sleep, and immunity.
